If you have ever done a workout dvd or tried an exercise class, you will see that they focus a whole lot on the abdominals. Crunches, side crunches, reverse crunches, bicycles crunches, the list could go on and on!
However, very few fitness instructors spend as much time focusing in on the lower back.
For every set of abdominal exercises you perform, you should also do a set of lower-back exercises.
Focusing only on your abs can lead to poor posture
